Kuntanawa | Yunu

Kuntanawa Yunu Rapé is prepared with the usual top grade tobacco ashes from the wood and bark from the Sapota tree. The Sapota tree makes a great ash that is very gentle on the nose. The blend gets its delicious refreshing scent from the leafs of a tree called Yunu. Yunu is the name of this herb in their indigenous language. In Portuguese the locals call it Lourinho or Lourim. The botanical name we haven’t been able to trace so far. Yunu or Lourinho has a very pleasant, refreshing minty scent which definitely lifts the spirits. It supports spiritual cleansing and drives away negative energies.
